so, pub crawl last night was interesting.. i went to crash DJ pub crawl.. that's Deidre Jordon village - it's the housing on campus.. Mao stays there, so i went to meet her after dinner.. the minute i got out of the car she was like "erm, i've got bad news.. i've gotta go back soon.. but then i'll come back again".. cos she was sober manager she had to make sure that those who wanted to go back got back safely.. so i said i'll wait for her in the city with her friends.. but then her friends decided to go back too.. so i hopped into one of the vans that they had borrowed from the village, and we made our way home.. or we tried to at least.. the driver, an aussie guy called Lionel, said he didn't know how to get back to Flinders from the city.. this s'pore guy said he knew the way so he sat in front and i sat in the back with the 2 other girls.. i knew that the fastest way was to go straight down north terrace then either onto sir donald bradmond, or onto goodwood road, or south road (sorry, it'll only make sense to people living here.. hehe).. that basically would have meant going straight all the way, then turning right.. but the s'pore guy instructed lionel to turn left immediately.. then he went all the way down king william... so you can see that we're going in the exact opposite direction.. you can still get back here that way, but it's heaps longer.. anyway.. so the guy kept giving instructions, and Sarsi and i were like, "nah, it's the wrong way.. you should be going the other way.." anyway, we ended up in Unley, and got lost in the housing area.. then Dee needed to puke, so we had to stop.. she was sitting behind me, so i got paniky.. sorry, i'm just really scared of vomit.. so anyway, they tried to open the van door but it just wouldn't open! she kept asking us to hurry, but it just wouldn't budge.. so lionel had to off the engine and give us the key to try and unlock it from the outside.. thankfully we got it open! but then she just stood there for a while and i think eventually she forced herself to throw up! gross, i know... but i think it made her feel a little bit better.. so then i moved to the front, cos i was a coward, and was afraid she'll puke in the van.. so, we reversed and went back towards the city.. then we stopped again at the petrol qiosk for Sarsi to pee.. then the s'pore guy asked for directions at the petrol qiosk.. so we went back down unley again.. i'm telling you, it would have been much faster to just go back to the city and get onto goodwood road! but oh well, we went looking again.. had to stop again half way for Dee to puke again.. and then off we went again.. eventually we were more or less on the right track back, when suddenly there was a splat sound from the back on the van.. Dee had thrown up in the van.. so we quickly tried to pull over.. but before we could even stop she threw up again.. the poor s'pore guy who was next to her! haha.. she puked on him! but he was pretty cool about it.. all he said was "my jeans are all warm now!" haha.. i found that really funny.. if someone threw up on me, i'd strip lor! haha.. seriously... lol.. so we pulled over, gave her time to puke out everything else... sarsi wanted to sit infront with me.. but then lionel said she can't cos he'll lose his licence.. so she went right to the back of the van.. she said it smelt of vodka! haha.. eventually i got off at the junction of south and sturt road and walked in.. it was sooo scary! i was praying and looking over my shoulder all the time.. i refused to walk near any of the big trees cos i was afraid that someone might be hiding behind one of them! i know it sounds silly, but it's not safe in australia.. so many girls get raped and kidnapped all the time.. it's so sad! i've never felt so fearful walking alone at night before.. i miss s'pore! it's so safe! anyway.. i got home at 1.50am.. i went to the pub for about 30 mins.. didn't have a drink, didn't dance, didn't do anything except talk to a few people.. then took 1 hour and 20 mins to get home in what normally would have taken 20 mins at the max! sheesh! haha..
hmm.. oh ya! my birthday! this year i'm giving myself a special birthday present! haha.. i'm gonna go kayaking.. i'm gonna explore Adelaide’s own Dolphin Sanctuary and shipwreck heritage trail around Garden Island!!! cool huh?! haha.. anyone wanna join me? i was thinking of going skydiving.. but it's a bit too expensive.. i'll probably do the kayaking one first.. then when the weather gets a bit warmer, i'll go and do the rock-cimbing and abseiling one.. that one's double the price of the kayaking, but i think it's totally worth it.. i think i'll stop shopping and use my money for these sports instead.. i LOVE extreme sprots, but no one ever wants to go with me.. :( i'll probably wait till i go to queensland to do the skydiving.. it's a lot cheaper and i think the view will be better than adelaide's.. oooooooooooooooooooooooooh! so exciting! can't wait.. hehe.. i should find ways to earn money.. maybe i'll get a job.. but my workload is insane this sem.. i don't think i'll be able to find the time to work.. maybe i'll sell some of my stuff to fund my adventure trips.. hehe.. cool! okie.. i'm getting carried away.. here's my current favourite website! http://adrenalin.com.au/sea-kayaking-dolphin/adelaide/water/12345 check it out yea?
oh yeah, i've got this really hot white skirt that i really really like a lot.. and i dont really wanna give it to the salvos.. anyone want it? it's really really new.. think i only wore it once.. twice at the max.. it's too short for me! haha.. i'm giving it away for FREE! magic word.. lol..
oh wellys.. i'm gonna hang the laundry now.. been doing housework all day.. sooooo domesticated.. i think i'll make a good housewife! haha.. enjoy the weekend everyone!
