i'm back...

i just realised it's been almost 2 weeks since my last post.. sorry about that.. been so busy, and at other times, ive just been far too lazy.. besides, my internet has been down for the past few days.. ugh!! that's the problem with Au.. it takes forever to fix something that would have only taken a day at most to fix in S'pore.. but who's complaining? haha.. so.. the past few weeks have been hectic, and the next 2 months or so are gonna be even worse!! so so so much to do... trial exams are around the corner, and Leo is coming over in a couple of weeks.. Shell and Licia are here in Au!!!! i wish they'd come here.. but don't think it's possible.. :( would have been nice to see some of my dearest friends from home.. it's weird how Chris, Tim Yang and I are all in the same country, but hardly keep in touch.. oh well... just 5 months (or 23 weeks) till i'm going home!! wee hee!!! can't wait.. i love it here.. but i love it in S'pore too.. gonna treasure every second that i have back home.. my mum says i'm gonna paint the town red when i get back, and i think she's right.. haha.. dear friends, be ready to have fun like you've never had before!! haha.. ooooooo!!!! i just can't wait... time'll fly, and before i know it i'll be home.. but that also means that final exams are only 5 months away.. i'll get my results in the 2nd week of december.. so i'm praying i'll do well.. haha.. what am i talking about? i haven't even started yet! but yeah, i'm aspiring to do well... (like who doesn't???!!) but i still haven't decided what i wanna do in uni.. so HELP!! gotta decide by august.. hmm.. that reminds me.. i'll be celebrating my 19th birthday away from home.. first time i won't be at home with my family and friends, but oh wells.. i'll be celebrating it here for the next 4 years at least.. might try to fly back for my 21st birthday.. hehe.. don't think it's possible though.. anyways.. school's going great otherwise.. got my school jumper.. i think it's pretty nice.. not the best use of colours, but i think it looks kinda pretty... i'll try to upload some pics soon.. well, off to go and get some work done.. have a nice week people.. and take care.. phew.. finally..

finally... it's thursday... this week has been insane! i had a logic test yesterday (4 chapters), an economic test today (6 chapters) and i've got an accounts test tmr (2 chapters).. then i've got a psychology test on tuesday (5 chapters).. but thank God for the long weekend.. it's the queen of England's birthday on monday.. so we get a public holiday.. then the local students get tuesday off.. but international students have classes.. ugh... but who's complaining? lol.. how's everyone been? i've been mugging my head off till i haven't really been able to have a meaningful conversation with anyone.. sorry guys.. thanks for puttin up with me.. :) so... since i've only got accounts tmr, i'm sorta relaxing today.. hehe.. hey, i need a break don't i? haha.. so, i washed some of my clothes just now, watched a vcd (catch me if you can - watched that years ago though.. really good show).. gonna take a nap, then go running.. yes, you read right.. the princess is actually getting off her butt to exercise.. haha.. i used to do kick-boxing back in s'pore, but my uni gym is really far away.. gotta take a bus.. so i'm trying to cultivate the habit of exercising.. cos i'm really loading on the pounds... my face is so so so round!!
on tuesday i had my group presentation for Australian Studies.. and i mucked up the power point.. and i felt bad cos i mucked up my group mate's slide.. i don't know what happened.. he was missing one slide.. but he was such a darling and didn't blame me.. i kept apologising... ahh.. silly me... then after that we got back our accounts test results... i got 2nd highest in class.. thank you Jesus.. but i missed getting the highest by half a mark.. HALF a mark you know or not!! i got 27.5/30.. highest was 28.. ughh... guess who got the highest? my team mate.. the one whose slide i mucked up.. haha.. funny day it was.. yup.. okie... well i'm off to coon... trial exams start 24th july.. Leo is coming to visit soon.. he arrives at 8.35am on tuesday the 4th of july... few more weeks only.. hehe.. yup.. so have a nice weekend everyone.. take care.. God bless..

busy busy busy...

it's been over a week since i last blogged.. been so so busy.. and lazy.. haha.. just never found the time.. so, i think i've finally found a church to settle down in.. it's called Paradise Community Church.. it's not the one Jeff and Linda attended when they were here, but it's a nice place.. people are warm and friendly.. and i met a girl from singapore! haha.. her name is Fiona.. and the world really is a small place! she knows Emily Ewing-Chow, Hannah Brownell and Esther Loh!!! haha.. it's so amazing.. :) the people there are really friendly.. they made me feel so welcomed and i was so comfortable with them.. it just made me wanna go back again.. and i think that's what a church, or any place for that matter, should be like if they want to retain people.. especially new comers.. so yup, i'm going back again tmr.. i've got 3 tests and 2 presentations this week, and 1 test and 1 presentation the week after.. so i'm gonna be a mugger for the next 2 weeks... i bought a bag today after my group work - which wasn't so group work cos 2 people didn't turn up.. 1 didn't contribute at all, and the other was the one who suggested that we spend our saturday afternoon meeting up.. all the way to the library.. since Aya(this Jap girl) and i had already finished our part in class last week, we helped Alvin(this HK guy) to do up his part and combined his info into our powerpoint and we were done.. took us an hour.. we seriously could have done that sometime last week.. totally unnecessary to interrupt my study timing.. but oh well, good thing is i managed to pick up a really gorgeous bag.. and it was on 30% off.. hehe.. i deliberated for a long long time before i got it.. but then, this being australia, i can return in within 14 days if i change my mind.. hehe.. but i doubt that'll happen.. it's sort of an early b'day present to myself from..... from no one.. from me to me.. haha.. yup.. back to studying now.. its 0043 and im exhausted.. night people.. take care and God bless!
