TGIF + wedding pics

Like i said, this week will past equally as fast as the rest have, and it sure did.. it's friday.. love the weekends.. gives me time to laze around and gives me time to catch up with my work.. sidetracking - Amanda, now you've seen Leo's friendster and his long hair, you know why i was complaining??? haha.. he looks so much better now with short hair.. and thanks for warning him to treat me well.. lol!! abbie and manda, i miss u both heaps.. i miss all my SHINErs.. looking at Kel and Esther's wedding pics just makes me miss home more.. Congrats again to they newly weds! So, i've heard that Soo Jin and Vanessa, congrats to the engaged couple :), are having their wedding on the 2nd of Dec, and there is no way i'm missing that.. i've already missed one wedding, and it's one too many.. so i've planned to get back in time for it.. honoured? haha.. the last exam paper is on the 27th of nov.. so we're allowed to leave only after that.. i'll probably take 3 days to pack up ALL my stuff - my mum recons it'll only take a day.. but i'll probably leave here on the 29th of Nov.. and catch an evening flight out from melbourne and be back in Singapore at 1 or 2 am on the 30th of November.. ooooohhh!!! i'm so looking forward to that.. i'm gonna study my butt off these next 6 months so i can enjoy when i come back, without having to worry about my results which come out just before Christmas.. oh well.. be ready girls, we'll have a blast!! ;) oh well.. off to do some homework before i'm off to bed.. night folks! and have a great weekend.. here are some pics of the wonderful wedding i missed.. :( oh well, at least i've got pics.. they're actually stolen from Shell's and Abbie's blog.. hehe.. sorry and thanks darls..

Mid-week

time really flies.. it's wednesday already and before we know it, the weekends will be here.. and then the holidays.. and then trial exams.. and then more lessons.. and then holidays.. then a couple of weeks of lessons, then FINAL EXAMS!! ahhh!!! then i'm HOME SWEET HOME!! i can't wait to go back!! so much yummy food to eat.. i'm gonna spend most of my time eating.. yuM!
anyway.. so we got back our holiday assignment for economics, and i got 18/20!! sweet as sugar!! thank you Lord!! i took a picture of it to prove it.. haha.. cos some people refuse to believe it is possible.. but what's so unbelievable about that? haha.. oh.. and it's rumoured that there will be a Language and Communication (basically English) exam during the last week of the holidays.. and we've only got a 2 week break.. but oh well, i'm not too fussed up about it cos i've got confidence in my English skills.. hehe.. but it's such a bummer having to go back to school for a test during the holidays.. but it's good to get it over and done with.. so i have 1 less paper to worry about.. so for 2 weeks (24th July till 2nd August) i'll be having trial exams..

today was a great day and lessons were a breaze.. saw an accident site.. this bus managed to crash into the traffic light as it turned around the corner.. i didn't actually witness the accident, but i sure saw the mess left behind.. there was shattered glass everywhere.. and the bus had this massive dent all down the left side.. my first thoughts were that i hoped no one was injured, and i said a prayer for all the passengers who were onboard that they were safe and sound.. then i thanked God for the safety of my family and friends and myself.. something we often take for granted.. oh wells.. tmr is a long day.. 3 lessons.. that's 6 hours of class!! but it's alright.. they're all my favourite lessons anyway.. so, we got back our report cards last friday, and Glory to God i did pretty well.. Hope to do better for the finals, but i'm content with my grades right now.. :) ok, back to work.. leaving you with some pics that i took at Barossa Valley in Adelaide.. i went up there with my hostel mates in march i think.. it's where all the wineries are.. we had an absolute blast!! enjoy people and have a nice week ahead! Hello from Australia..

I finally decided to start up this blog, after much consideration, to keep my friends back home in Singapore (and anyone else) updated on my life.. Being in Australia has it's perks, but alas, being away from home is never easy.. I don't think you ever do stop missing home.. I know i never will.. Afterall, that's where i grew up.. and MPCC is where i spent most of my teenage years.. life-long friendships were formed, and friends who are as close to me as sisters and brothers are there.. I miss all of you so so much..
Life here in Adelaide is great.. It's a really nice place.. just that it lacks the safety that Singapore has to offer.. I love my school loads.. i think it's by far the best school i've ever attended.. i'm doing well.. and the teachers are great!!
assignments are starting to pile up and revision needs to start cos trial exams are in late july.. ahhhh!! the 4th week of term 2 begins tmr.. boy does time fly.. i've been here for exactly 4 months.. wow.. long time.. :)
well, gotta hit the books now.. so take care peeps!
