i want my wedding to be like this, if not better.. it's like a fairytale..

we've decided to take things slow and get to know each other better first before committing to anything serious. I'm glad we had the talk and we took time to hear what each other had to say. Things have really changed in the way we handle situations.. Years ago we would have handled things differently, but i'm glad things turned out the way they did. You're right, and I agree with what you said, although initially i was hesitant. Either way, we'll let God guide us. Thank you for showing me how wonderful things can be.

ok, i caved.. i know i said i'm not gonna go buy anything but, i ended up shopping and bought 2 dresses.. after church i met ern chee, phylia and fiona!!! fiona is back!! hehe.. i was sooooo happy to see these girls! i haven't seem them in light years.. we had pasta and cake.. it was soooooooooo yummy! but so filling too! i'm too full to have dinner, which is definately a first.. we sat there for almost 3 hours just catching up with each other.. the time just flew by! then when i was walking down rundell mall to get to the bus stop, i saw a really nice dress in elle would, so i walked in.. and i ended up trying on a million dresses.. in the end i found 3 that i really liked, but i only got 2.. i'm not so sure about the 2nd one, but oh well.. it's unique i suppose.. haha.. i'm gonna watch australian idol now.. have a great week guys! i think this is really sweet...

i'm super duper bored.. been surfing the net all afternoon.. i was planning to do some work today, cos i've got lots of reading and note making to do.. i'm settling back into life here, although i still miss everyone back home.. made some new friends in class the other day.. they're really cool.. so that was good.. i've only got classes on tue, wed and thursday this sem.. and i've only got a 50 minute lecture on tuesdays.. i suppose i should get a job or something.. hmmm.. will think about that.. in the meantime, lots of work to do this sem... i think it's gonna be a really interesting sem.. instead of having boring tutes, we're gonna have student led tutes.. which is uber cool! each week 1 or 2 students will facilitate the tute.. i got to do the subjects that are really interesting.. i'm soooooo glad i took up sociology.. i'm thinking of changing my degree.. instead of doing a double degree in Arts and Education, i've been considering just doing an Arts degree.. i'm seriously considering the prospect of returning to s'pore to work after i graduate, and if i do, not only will i be wasting a year doing the education degree, cos it's not gonna be of much use in s'pore, but i'll also be wasting almost 30k... if i do decide to just do an Arts degree, i'll do a triple major, which i can't do if i'm doing a double degree.. i'll major in Sociology, English, and either Development Studies or Education.. i'm pretty set on doing that, but i'll continue to pray about it and find out more about career prospects both in australia and s'pore.. but from what i've found out so far, the demand for sociology graduates is on the rise.. that means that i'll graduate and be back in s'pore a year ahead of schedule.. which is a good thing!

anyways, i'm gonna go tidy my room.. i need to go through my wardrobe again.. there's no space and i'm pretty sure there's lots of stuff i don't wear anymore.. i've stopped buying clothes here, so that should help.. did all my shopping in s'pore and promised my mum i'd stop once i got back.. i suppose i don't really have much of a choice - i haven't got anywhere to put any more clothes! haha.. i'll probably take some stuff out to bring back to s'pore, and maybe give away or sell some of my other stuff.. oh well.. i thank God and my mummy that i'm sooooo blessed and fortunate to have not 1, but 2 over-flowing wardrobes - 1 here and 1 in s'pore.. hehe.. i really really need to stop buying clothes.. but i think i'm more addicted to guess bags than i am to clothes.. haha.. ok, i'm off to tidy.. will do my readings in the evening.. there's the movie 'Catch me if you can' tonight, but i've watched it quite a few times already.. besides, there's footy on tonight as well.. the crows are playing port.. so my uncle will definately wanna watch it.. ugh.. footy really bores me.. oh well, thank God i've got movies on my laptop.. if only i was in s'pore.. i'd be getting ready for cell now, then i'll be going to FOP tonight with everyone else.. sighs.. just a few more years and i'll be able to do that.. hmm.. will i still be allowed in youth cell then? i think so la.. abbie, manda and i will never grow up! we refuse! haha.. at least i do! and if i were still in s'pore, i'll be able to watch the NDP parade and see derek on tv! haha.. he's having rehersal now i presume.. thankfully i watched the preview live, so i got to see him marching here and there.. haha.. it's sorta like a more macho version of a fashion show.. muahahaha.. that's just my opinion, and cos i tend to link everything to fashion! haha.. derek will soooo totally kill me for linking his unit to a fashion show.. haha.. neways, have a great weekend guys.. and have fun at FOP.. take more pics!!!! oh! and those with blogs, pls pls pls update them!!! cheers!
