i'm soooo lazy to blog.. but hey, a picture speaks a thousand words right? so i'm leaving you guys with heaps of pics.. the first lot are from my hostel mate Cindy's birthday dinner.. food was great and so was the company..

took these pics on friday night.. the first few shots were taken on my way to rundell mall.. i went shopping of course.. and got lots of nice stuff! hehe.. the highlight of the evening was, of course, MAMAK NIGHT!! it was organised by my church, Paradise.. it was sooo good.. there was bryani rice, curry and more curry, prata and more curry, and teh tarik.. oh! and chin chow too.. yum!! then there was desert. there were all kinds of kueh.. i loved the one that was cheesecake and had strawberry jelly on top.. then there was pandan cake and a lot more stuff.. anyways, once again, the food was awesome, but the company was even better... thanks guys for making me feel so welcomed!! love you guys.. :)

visit from my bf..

wow.. time really flies.. it's been almost a month since i last blogged.. sorry guys.. :)
so, my boyfriend Leo came for a short visit.. he was here for 6 days.. and he just left today.. it had to be a short trip cos we're both having exams soon.. anyways, so we didn't really do much sight-seeing or anything like that.. we spent our time in the library, shopping and eating.. oh my goodness, you won't believe how much we ate.. we just ate and ate and ate... we had japanese - sushi, italian, dim sim twice, chinese, korean and western food too.. but it was all good.. haha..

then, we went hiking with my hostel manager and my hostel mates.. it was so so awesome.. i met this girl, Lauren, who is from Kentucky, America.. she just finished a training course at YWAM.. what a small world! she told me she just finished a course at youth with a mission, and she wasn't sure if i had heard of it before.. and i was like "YWAM!!!!" and she was like "yeah!! are you a believer?" haha.. it was so funny.. and for the rest of the walk we just shared our experiences.. and i shared with her about the mission trip i went on to Chiang Mai in 2001.. God is just so so good!!
and we saw a wild Kuala.. it was at the base of a tree.. it was so close to us.. we had to be really careful we didn't make it feel boxed in, otherwise it might have attacked us.. but it was cute.. hehe..
yesterday i got a pair of expensive groovy sunnies.. hehe.. Leo bought them for me.. thank you darling.. they're funky and i like them heaps.. hehe.. yup.. so he left today.. feels odd not having him here.. but then again time really flies.. i'm going to sydney at the end of nov, after my finals, to get a scuba-diving license, so i'll see him then.. oh wellys.. will blog again soon.. 6 weeks till finals.. Lord please help me!! take care folks.. hugs and kisses..

so.... i only have one lesson on wednesdays.. 8.30 class which ends at 10.30.. so i went for a walk.. went shopping by myself.. hehe.. i like shopping by myself.. but the only thing is your friends arent there to give their opinions.. but my friends all have classes on wednesday afternoons.. so no one can make it for shopping with me.. but its cool.. i can do stuff on my on time and take as long as i want.. hehe.. yeah, so today i bought heaps of accessories and a top.. i got stuff worth 116.55... and the amazing thing is i only paid 30.50!!!!! haha... i got 3 bangles, 2 necklaces, 1 braclet, 2 pairs of earrings and a ring.. and the top i mentioned earlier.. so happy.. they're really nice stuff.. took some pics of them.. hehe.. they're quality stuff too.. i got them all from DIVA.. some of you might have heard of it.. especially those who've been to Australia.. hehe.. girls, if you want anything just let me know.. i'll be more than happy to pick stuff up for you.. sometimes when i shop i see stuff that i think is a certain person's style and i pick it up.. hehe.. so girlys.. i've got stuff for you guys... and i have the b'day presents that i couldn't pass to u guys this year..

so, yea... my boyfriend is coming soon.. it was supposed to be a surprise visit, but he blurted it out.. haha.. but it's a pleasent surprise.. can't wait to see him.. hehe.. it's been almost a year since we've been together.. time flies.. it's been an awesome year though.. :) a couple more months and i'm gonna graduate.. can't bear to leave my college though.. i really love it.. never loved school so much in my life!! haha.. i'm still praying about what i should do in uni though.. i'm deciding between law, banking and international finance, commerce, jouranlism and a double degree in arts and education.. let me know which one you guys think best suits my personality ok? hehe.. thanks.. i have to decide in like 1 weeks time!! ahhhh!!

yeah.. so, i'm still trying to upload the pics of my birthday, the steamboat with my classmates at my place, and the pics of the trip to the beach and the saussage bbq fot dinner.. but i have to upload them one at a time.. ugh!! did i mention that i took oics with snakes?? haha.. i wanna buy a snake.. hehe..

just relised i didn't blog about all those things.. haha.. sorry... ok, on the 1st of sept, friday, after class a 8 of my school mates came to my place for a steamboat.. we had so much fun.. and we drank so much!! haha.. they can really drink.. for almost every sentence that someone said, someone else would say "gan bei!!".. which means cheers.. and the funny thing was that one of the guys said, "i wanna make all of you drunk!".. but guess what.. he was the first to get drunk.. haha.. we girls rawk!! we weren't even drunk.. hehe.. not even close.. lol.. but i could have done with a bit less alcohol.. haha..

the next day, saturday, the weather was just so so wonderful... winter had just ended, so it was awesome to fell the sun hot on our backs again.. i was originally gonna go shopping, but then i ended up going to the beach with my hostel mates.. we went down to glenelge beach.. the guys played around on the beach, and i went to the shops.. typical of me.. haha.. and i saw a lady with snakes.. so i dragged the guys there on the way home.. they were petrified! i was like, they're not gonna bite.. so anyway, the lady asked if i wanted to hold them and i was like "yeah!!" the look on the guys faces was hilarious.. they must have thought i lost it.. but then 2 of them gradually touched them and realised they werent slimy, so they carried them and posed for a pic.. then we came home and had a saussage bbq.. cos one of my hostel mates was leaving.. he's been here for almost a year.. he used to stay in the room next to mine.. i miss him... i miss you elephant!!!

yeah, so that's about it i guess.. still trying to upload the pics, but with little success.. i'll keep trying.. have a great week.. half the week is gone.. so fast.. can't wait to go home.. hehe.. miss all of you back home.. love ya all.. and HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBIE DARLING.. here's to 12 years of friendship and bestfriends.. i love you darl.. muacks!!!
