i don't really know what's happening and i think you're just as clueless.. prehaps we got used to not being a part of each other's lives.. i wanted things to work, so i kept holding on, hoping that things would be better tommorrow.. but tomorrow would come and things never changed.. maybe they did change; maybe we drifted even further apart.. yeah, that sounds about just right.. i felt like i was fighting a losing battle but i believed the things you told me before.. maybe you don't deal well with the whole long-distance thing.. maybe things will change when i get back.. but somehow i don't think they will though.. everytime i feel like giving up i think maybe i should just wait till i get back before i decide.. but then i think, what's the point? i think we both knew this was coming.. it's not the outcome i hoped for, but who knows.. maybe things will change.. i dunno..

i think it's time for me to let go..

tmr is probably the busiest day of the year for me.. i've got an exam from 10-12.. then i'm leading the tutorial facilitation with my classmate David from 12-1.. it's on child labour.. then i've got an hours break, followed by a lecture from 2-4.. need to go down to sturt campus to listen to my education lecture and do tutorial notes on it then run back up to main campus and do some research.. then head to Charlene's place to celebrate her birthday.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUN!!! i can't wait to meet them.. i love those girls.. they make my life here soooo much fun.. but sadly i only get to see them every now and again.. but i saw all of them in the past week, which is good.. :)

derek's back in s'pore and he's happy to be back in civilization.. he says that his hair was really really long.. i can't imagine that! haha.. hope he took a photo or something.. lol.. i love my boyfriend.. :) haha.. so random..

so... i'm leaving adelaide on the 1st of nov.. which is like in 9 days time!! oh my! that's sooo soon.. it seems like only last week that i was grumbling that i still had ten weeks to go.. and now i've only got 1 week left.. i've still got 2 2000 word essays to write though! i need to work fast! haha.. well after tmr, things get less busy.. i plan to finish my Sociology essay by Saturday at the latest and start on my Education one on Sunday and finish it by tuesday.. yay! hope i stick to my plan..

i'm gonna go shopping for stuff to bring back so if you guys want anything let me know soon! text me or msn me.. yup.. i think that's about it.. i'm off to study.. have a great week! :)

havent updated for a while.. lots have happened since.. GenFest was on this week.. started on monday evening and ended yesterday night.. it was absolutely awesome! the preaching was great and the people were absolutely wonderful.. it's funny though, i was telling Kate, that a couple of weeks ago i was rushing to go home.. trying to finish all my work asap so that i could go home earlier.. but now, i actually wanna stay here longer.. if not for derek's ord parade, i'd have liked to stay for the rest of november.. it's not that i don't wanna go home or that i don't miss the people back home, cos i do!! it's just that i've made lots of really good friends here that i'd like to spend some time with.. but oh well, i've got 3 more years to hang out with them.. :) thanks to Kat and Deb for the lifts.. oh, and Naomi too.. it was really awesome seeing all these kids praising and worshipping God with so much passion. Pitto shared that the word passion actually means to suffer. and it was especially true for me - i had somehow injured my back and the pain was unbelievable.. but i was still jumping around and having fun praising God.. Pastor Matt Garner was pretty funny.. he's the guy who used to be part of planetshakers or something like that.. Pastor Cameron from Paradise church preached as well.. and Last night Pastor Mike preached.. i was sooooooooo looking forward to that! he's an amazing man of God, just like his dad and bro.. He looks quite like his bro, Kris, except that he's a bit rounder and has a beard.. he's my hero and an amazing inspiration.. if he can still be praising God and preaching the goodness of grace of God in the midst of fighting cancer and being on dialysis, then i can do the same, whatever circumstances i may be facing.. he's just great! and i got a photo with him.. hehe.. yay.. Genfest has really changed my life.. i see a lot of things differently now.. and things that i used to be hooked up on now seem so frivolous.. i'm soooooooooo glad i went.. i love my girlfriends.. they're the best.. God's blessed me with awesome friends and family.. :)

have a great week guys.. i'll be leaving adelaide on the 1st of november, so i'll arrive in s'pore at about 1am on the 2nd of nov.. in time for derek's ord parade in the evening.. oh! and i'm gonna help to renovate the children's outpatient ward at the Women's and Children's Hospital this weekend.. so that's what i'm gonna be doing on friday and saturday! hehe.. it'll be wicked! can't wait.. ok, i better bounce.. enjoy the pics from genfest, the movie outing with the girls to catch hairspray, and pics from the sleep over at ern chee's plus the trip to Glenelg the next day.. that was soooo much fun! except for when i met this really weird guy at the bus stop.. the girls had taken the tram back to the city, and i was gonna catch a bus straight back to my place.. was sitting at the bus stop waiting for the bus when this african guy comes and sits nexts to me and tries to start a conversation with me.. i kept ignoring him.. then after a while he says "i've got something to tell you.. i love you.. will you be my girlfriend?".. i was like, nooooooooooooo! then he was like, do you have a boyfriend or something? i was like, yeah, i do.. but it didnt seem to register with him.. cos he kept persisting.. i got so freaked la! i called ern chee.. haha.. not like she could have done anything.. but i just didnt wanna have to talk to him.. haha.. then he left after a while.. phew.. lol.. funny stuff.. oh well.. i'm off to get some work done.. ciao!
