hallies pub crawl

so.. yesterday was Flinder's hall pub crawl.. not wanting to miss out on the fun, Mao and i decided to crash it.. muahahaha..
Mao came over for dinner first, then we met her friend Carley and her friends on the bus.. the group was at Richmond's on rundell from 8-9, so we went there.. gudness, i was in awe when we went in.. the whole place was covered with hallies.. they were pretty distinctive cos they were all in their yellow hallie tees.. met up with more friends there.. it was pretty fun.. there were soooooo many people there.. maybe a hundred? haha..
then we went to this place on hindley, can't rmb the name.. then we went to the woolshed.. didn't really like it much.. it was rather boring.. so Mao recomended a place called the duck and dog (or something like that).. it was really really uber cool.. rather quite, hardly any crowd, but they had a live band.. had a drink and then realised some things seemed a bit odd.. then Mao remembered it was a gay bar! but it was fantastic! we ended up partying the night away with a gay couple and a les couple.. they were so much fun.. and we didn't have to worry about the guys hitting on us! lol.. we spent about 3 hours there.. but the time just flew by! it was crazy!! felt heaps weird seeing them hanky pankying and all, but oh well.. as long as they didn't touch us! haha.. not that they were interested in us or anything.. haha.. there's just sooooo much i could say but i'm lazy.. haha.. all in all, it was a great night and i had heaps of fun.. thanks Mao for bringing me along! haha.. oh well.. nights all! enjoy the pics.. :) oh! and i curled my hair.. looked pretty nice.. see if you can tell in any of the pics - the first few at least.. they sorta died out by the end of the night.. off to get ready for bed.. lunch at debra's place tmr.. yuM! ciao! xoxo

bitter and sweet do indeed go

it seems that my life has the ability to be a real life rollecoaster at times.. the last time i met edmund chen i was soooooo happy.. i was floating.. it felt as though nothing could pop my bubble.. but then something did. that same night.

this morning i was feeling lower than the ground.. sat in the toilet crying for an hour then anxiously tried to use my make up to hide any evidence.. (didn't really work though, so i put on my glasses to try and hide my eyes! lol) but as the day got better, thanks to wonderful friends like Chris and Abbie :) , the one thing that i've really been wanting to happen did.. and when i least expected it.. thanks Abigail Silverman! i owe you big time Abbey darling! so now i'm happy yet again.. went hunting for books in the library with Abbey and Justine.. had a blast being with them as usual.. hehe.. :) okie.. i'm off to keep grinning.. keeping my fingers and toes and all that i can crossed! please let something good come out of this! :)

although i'm still really pissed and angry with my tutor David, but i'm not gonna let him have the pleasure of ruining one more second of my life!

ok! bye! loves to all...

Maimi vice themed party

so.. being in a country that loves to drink and party, it's little surprise then that my uni frequently organises parties.. usually i don't bother going but yesterday i went with a group of friends.. i thought it'll be rather interesting cos of the theme and all.. if we had a party like that in s'pore i'm pretty sure only about 1/10 will dress up.. but this being a western country, practically everyone dressed up! it was an interesting sight.. haha.. i saw this girl who was wearing her knickers over her tights.. she looked like superman! there were also quite a few girls in leotards.. reminded me of my ballet days.. most of them had leg-warmers on too.. and i saw a pair that i REALLY like! haha so yup.. it was a really good party.. music wasn't all that dance-able till DJ Dylan came on.. he's pretty good, so that's probably why they always use him.. oh! and half way through there was this song that all the aussies knew.. Mao and i were like so blur.. we were like "what are we supposed to be doing?" then we saw everyone line-dancing.. so we joined in.. pretty simple moves, but it was awesome seeing everyone doing the same thing.. but i suppose since it was an 80's themed party it should have been expected.. haha.. there was lots of aerobic dancing.. my friends were absolutely insane! haha.. they were doing all these crazy swings and throws! but i have to admit they were good! lots of funny, and some embarrassing, things happened.. haha.. but yeah.. met up with friends i haven't seen in ages.. so that was good.. made new friends too, and realised how many of my friends are friends of my other friends.. if that even makes sense! okie.. i'm off to the gym.. thinking of taking part in the city to bay thingy this year.. it's a 12km run.. hmm.. neways.. i'm outta here! i'll let the pictures do the talking since there's much that i shouldn't and can't say! ;) ciao!
friends, friends and more friends.. pictures galore! :) enjoy!

we are the singapore girls! :)
